Your proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and banquet set up/ tear down will contribute to the seamless operation of our hospitality services. Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms by cleaning and setting up tables, chairs, linens, and equipment to ensure a polished presentation for events
- Maintain cleanliness of all banquet areas, including floors, walls, and fixtures, through thorough cleaning.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely during event setup and breakdown
- Monitor the cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and service corridors to uphold sanitation standards
- Support the janitorial team by performing industrial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain overall facility hygiene
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver smooth transitions between events by ensuring spaces are spotless and well-organized
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial services, or custodial work within a hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning methods
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting fellow staff members
