Position:
Registered Behavior Technician for a part time or full time position (15-40 hours a week). This position will be daytime hours between 8-3pm Monday-Friday for in school services under the direction of a BCBA.
RBT: The RBT is considered the direct therapist on the case working with children and families providing applied behavior analysis. The RBT is under the direction and supervision of a BCBA. The RBT is expected to provide 1:1 direct therapy with the client. The RBT may be asked and offered to assist the BCBA or BCaBA with indirect work related to the case. The RBT is expected to build rapport with supervisors, clients, caregivers, and other professionals. The RBT is expected to main professional at all times. RBT responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 direct therapy to client
- Taking data on program goals each session
- Brief and debrief parents on session goals, progress, and interventions each session.
- Take general direction and feedback from case supervisors
- Communicate any changes to schedule, staffing, environment or concerns to BCBA who will report to the clinical director
- Assist with graphing, assessment conducting, or program writing at the discretion for the BCBA.
- Collaborate with other professionals or caregivers related to client care
- Seek opportunities to grow in skill areas
- Complete progress note each session
- Submit billing and paperwork on time
Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience working with children; special needs a plus.
- High school diploma; A.A . or bachelors degree preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified before starting.
- Trainable, reliable, ability to build great rapport with patient, family, and colleagues.
