Job Overview
Our client, a production facility in Crooksville, is seeking a general laborer to join their team! Schedule is 7pm to 7am with a rotating 3 day week, 4 day week schedule working every other weekend.
Duties
- Assist with the production process by performing various duties including loading and unloading kilns and pushing a kiln car on a track approximately every 25 minutes. The pushing weight is anywhere from 10 to 160 pounds so the job is very physical.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools to support assembly and manufacturing tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks, including proper handling of mechanical tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation
- Ability to perform physical labor involving pushing, pulling and lifting
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills
