Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Living Home Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring residents receive exceptional care, fostering a warm and welcoming environment, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in senior and long-term care, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and support caregiving staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to uphold high standards of resident care.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maintain financial health of the community.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, providing updates on care progress and addressing concerns proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, incident reports, staffing records, and regulatory compliance.
Skills
- Extensive experience in assisted living environments or nursing homes with a focus on senior care and memory support.
- Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience in group homes or retirement communities.
- Strong understanding of care plans development for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and healthcare regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and operational tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage residents, families, and staff effectively.
- Familiarity with home & community care practices, social work principles, and financial acumen related to healthcare management.
