DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsible for all in-house maintenance/preventative maintenance of facility. Duties include, general building repairs, light carpentry, painting, electrical, refrigeration, and air conditioning, maintaining maintenance log, other paperwork related to the position and miscellaneous maintenance duties deemed necessary.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- HVAC license required
- Electrical and Plumbing experience
- Safe work record
- Strong operational background and hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical and production equipment repair (Handy Man).
- An excellent disciplinary record - Practice safe work habits and always follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals & technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- 3 years minimum on industrial food equipment experience required (wrapping machines, conveyors, meat slicers, dish machines).
