Are you a skilled Dental Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of patients while working in a supportive, Christ-centered environment? Esperanza Health Center is seeking a part-time/per diem Dental Assistant to join our Dental Department, working 2 days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Assist dentists and hygienists with chair-side support and patient care.
- Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory.
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide administrative support such as scanning, patient calls, and chart management.
- Support patient education, engagement, and oral health promotion.
- Offer hope and comfort to patients through compassionate care and, when appropriate, prayer and scripture.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of accredited dental assisting program preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred; DANB RHS exam required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and patient service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven, diverse team environment.
- Flexibility to cover occasional evening or Saturday shifts.
