The Division of TennCare is seeking a Vendor Operations Data Analyst in the Vendor Operations Group, within Member Services. The Vendor Operations Data Analyst will report directly to the Contact Center Analyst. This role uses TEDS, ServiceNow, NICE CXone, and other vendor systems to develop Tableau reporting that evaluates call drivers, dispositions, SLAs, KPIs, and the impact of system and process changes. The Vendor Operations Data Analyst extracts, validates, analyzes, and visualizes data using SQL, SAS, R+, Python, and XML. Responsibilities include identifying trends, presenting findings to leadership and vendors, configuring API connections for Tableau, and supporting both routine and ad hoc reporting needs. This role also contributes to technology and process improvement initiatives through advanced data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data queries, cleaning, aggregation, dashboard development, quality checking, and reporting using SAS, SQL, Python, XML, R+, and Tableau.
- Perform descriptive, predictive, and inferential statistical analyses related to contact center operations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and complete projects on schedule.
- Create and maintain queries, logic definitions, and data dictionaries. -Improve Excel-based reporting through macro development and automation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to provide guidance and fulfill reporting needs.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding data values, parameters, and analyses.
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance OmniChannel and CRM platforms.
- Support reporting design and implementation with vendor partners.
- Analyze audit data to identify trends, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure contract compliance through data interpretation and documentation.
- Maintain awareness of evolving policies and processes.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related discipline (i.e., statistics, applied statistics, mathematics, biostatistics, economics, epidemiology, computer science, social or behavioral sciences, health sciences, business, business administration, public administration, public policy, or other related field)

Desirable Qualifications:
Master's degree in a quantitative or related field.
Experience in Medicaid, managed care, or health insurance operations.
3+ years analyzing high-volume contact center data.
3+ years developing complex Tableau dashboards.
3+ years cleaning and analyzing large datasets, including text data.
1+ year producing/reporting in Power BI.
Experience with DBeaver and API-based system integrations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (macros, graphs, pivot tables, formulas).
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and exercise sound judgment
