The firm is entering a significant new chapter under the ownership and leadership of Pooja Jain, following years of steady growth and a strong design foundation. With over a decade of experience leading complex interior architecture and interior design projects across multifamily, senior living, and commercial work, Pooja brings a refined design perspective grounded in both creativity and execution.
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative team member who wants to be part of this evolution and grow with the firm. This role is ideal for someone who values both concept and execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles.
Requirements
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Develop detailed design concepts using AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to visualize design ideas.
- Select materials, furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that align with the project vision.
- Prepare project budgets and timelines while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the renovation or build process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that may arise during implementation.
- Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback for revisions as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer is required.
- Proficiency in design software including REVIT, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Bluebeam. Procore knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and contract management related to interior design projects.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, in multiple phases simultaneously.
- Strong ability in Conceptual design, Graphic design, and FF&E.
- Proven ability in creating ID construction drawings, elevations, and details.
- Precision in creating ID specifications: finishes, lighting, FF&E, etc.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
