Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize table turnover
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food preparation procedures in accordance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, upselling techniques, and guest engagement strategies
