Position Summary
We are seeking a highly dependable and detail-oriented Production Team Member to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is essential to our production process, requiring a proactive individual with strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to meeting scheduled delivery timelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently, ensuring our high standards of quality and efficiency are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Package finished products neatly and securely into boxes for shipment.
- Maintain a steady flow of raw materials and spools to production machines to prevent downtime.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on machinery as needed.
- Conduct regular quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure product specifications are met.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict adherence to all company safety policies.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and sustained attention.
- Stand for extended periods during the 8-hour shift.
- Work in a manufacturing environment consistent with safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic math skills for quality control measurements and inventory tasks.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal directions and safety procedures.
- Capacity to work effectively both within a team setting and independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive and dependable, with a strong sense of accountability and regular attendance.
- Fluent in English (required).
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Experience with packaging or machine operation is a plus.
- No experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week on our day shift (6:00 AM - 2:30PM) or swing shift (2:30PM - 11am), Monday through Friday. Weekends are optional and only as needed.
- Insurance: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance available following a 60-day probationary period.
- Paid Time Off:
- Paid Holidays: Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
- Vacation Pay: Accrues annually on the employee's start date anniversary.
- 40 hours for years 1-4.
- 80 hours for years 5-9.
- 120 hours for 10+ years of service.
