Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson City operates under the belief that every child is incredible potential. As part of the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful mentored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children age 6-17 (“Littles”) who need additional support, guidance, and encouragement. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Job Summary:
The Senior Program Coordinator (School-Based Mentoring program) explain the BBBS Program to prospective volunteers, clients, parents/guardians, and other involved parties. This individual must recruit, orient, interview, and conduct all screening and assessment procedures required for prospective volunteers and clients. The Senior Program Coordinator must review case files of accepted clients and volunteers and match volunteers and clients following the completion of established procedures; must assist in determining needs and assets to be developed in each child and develop a match plan. The Senior Program Coordinator must maintain case records, documentation, and all other paperwork in an organized and timely manner.

Pay: $22.94 - $24.17 per hour
