We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Hair Braider to join our dynamic salon team! In this role, you will bring your passion for hair styling and creativity to craft stunning braids, twists, and intricate hair designs that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful. Your expertise will help elevate our salon’s reputation for exceptional service, while fostering a welcoming environment where clients return time and again. Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair braiding services, including traditional, box braids, cornrows, and intricate styles tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable hair extensions, color treatments, or styling techniques.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, workstations, and products in accordance with health regulations.
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly atmosphere, listening attentively to client needs, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Stay current on the latest hair styling trends, techniques like the use of straight razors and eyelash extensions, and color theory to deliver innovative looks.
- Assist with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients, managing appointments
- Qualifications (but not mandatory)
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with specialization in hair braiding.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a focus on braiding techniques; familiarity with hair extensions is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as SQUARE for appointment scheduling and retail management.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety standards within a salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

Pay: $350.00 - $1,000.00 per week
