Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote/Hybrid Moving Sales Consultant (1099 Independent Contractor) to drive business growth through proactive client acquisition and relationship management. In this role, you will establish and cultivate professional networks, generate new business opportunities, manage inbound and outbound leads, and guide prospective clients through the sales process from initial contact to booking.
This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from your home office while managing your sales pipeline, communicating with prospective clients, and coordinating estimates. However, you will also be expected to travel locally to meet with clients for in-home or on-site estimates and consultations as needed. Business-related mileage is reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to build lasting relationships with residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, nurturing leads, identifying referral opportunities, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Prospect potential clients through cold calling, lead generation activities, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline
- Manage existing accounts by nurturing relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to client needs to facilitate deal closing
- Utilize CRM software and sales management systems to track interactions, update client information, and analyze sales performance
- Negotiate terms and close deals effectively while maintaining professionalism and integrity
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead conversion
Experience
- Proven success in B2B sales, with a focus on technology or software solutions preferred
- Demonstrated management or business development experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets 1-2 years
- Strong background in account management, territory sales, inside/outside sales, and customer relationship building 1-2 years
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and customer engagement 1-2 years
- Experience with remote sales environments, including prospecting via cold calling and virtual product demos 1-2 years
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to close deals efficiently in a fast-paced setting 1-2 years
- Familiarity with sales management tools and analysis techniques to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities 1-2 years
*Potential Increase in pay of $5-6 an hour after 60 day review. (If you preform well this will be a guarantee written on contract prior to starting that aligns with certain sales numbers.)
*Potential commission along with base pay.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
