Perform SMD soldering, rework, and assembly of electronic components and circuit boards.

Assemble, inspect, and test wire harnesses and cable assemblies.

Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and work instructions.

Conduct functional testing, continuity testing, and basic electrical verification of assemblies.

Support electronics troubleshooting, repair, and rework activities as needed.

Document test results, assembly issues, nonconformances, and repair actions.

Use common electronics tools and equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, soldering stations, crimp tools, and test fixtures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly or test issues.

Experience with surface-mount device soldering and electronic assembly.

Experience with wire harness assembly and testing.

Good computer skills, including the ability to use common office software, test software, data entry systems, and digital work instructions.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

IPC certification within the last 4 years, especially:

IPC-7711/7721

Current IPC certification preferred; certification renewal is typically required every 2 years.

Electronics troubleshooting experience at the component, board, harness, or system level.

Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and multimeters.

Experience working in a production, prototype, defense, aerospace, automotive, or engineering lab environment.

Strong manual dexterity and fine-detail workmanship.

Organized, dependable, and quality-focused.

Comfortable working with small components, connectors, terminals, and wiring.

Able to follow defined procedures while identifying and communicating issues.

Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and test methods.
This position may involve working in an electronics lab, production floor, or prototype assembly environment. The role may require sitting or standing for extended periods, working with small components, using hand tools, and following ESD and safety procedures.
