Tru by Hilton Christiansburg is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Room Inspector to help ensure our guestrooms consistently meet Hilton cleanliness and quality standards.
The Room Inspector is responsible for inspecting completed guestrooms before they are released for guest arrival and supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel.
Responsibilities
- Inspect completed guestrooms for cleanliness and overall quality
- Ensure rooms meet Hilton and hotel cleanliness standards
- Check beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture and other guestroom areas
- Verify towels, linens, amenities and guest supplies are properly stocked
- Identify and communicate areas requiring additional cleaning
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Work with room attendants to correct deficiencies
- Help prioritize rooms based on arrivals and operational needs
- Communicate room status with the housekeeping and front-desk teams
- Assist the housekeeping department when necessary
