Quality Assurance Inspector

</p><p>Pay Rate/Range: $18-19/hr
</p><p></p><p>Description: Seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a local metal processing facility. The Quality Inspector performs essential quality control functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications. The Quality Inspector performs hardness and other tests, calibration of testing equipment, audits, weekly probes, and surveys as needed. Additionally, the Quality Inspector is responsible for reporting any deviations, problems, or irregularities to supervisors or management immediately, ensuring orders meet requirements.

</p><ul><li><div>This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or a Permanent Resident Card Holder
</div></li><li><div>High school diploma or GED
</div></li><li><div>Basic knowledge and some hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required
</div></li><li><div>1-3 years in heat treating industry or related field is preferred
</div></li><li><div>Experience interpreting blueprints and basic knowledge of commercial, aerospace, and heat treating equipment preferred
</div></li></ul><p></p><p>Shift/Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00pm-7:30am. ** Will initially train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm**
