Lead Medication Technician – Full-Time Day Shift
Are you an experienced Medication Technician who knows how to keep a shift organized, support a care team, and make residents feel safe and cared for?
Normandy Park Senior Living is looking for a confident, dependable, and compassionate Lead Medication Technician to help lead our day-shift team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, communicates well, and is committed to high-quality resident care.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support your team throughout the shift.
- Help organize assignments, resident care, safety checks, and daily priorities.
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to physician orders.
- Complete timely and accurate electronic medication documentation.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, side effects, or adverse reactions.
- Communicate concerns immediately to the nurse or appropriate supervisor.
- Ensure medication carts, supplies, records, and treatment areas are organized and ready.
- Assist with vital signs, delegated nursing tasks, personal care, mobility, meals, and hydration.
- Help ensure care plans and scheduled services are completed.
- Support residents living with dementia, cognitive changes, and complex care needs.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
- Set the tone for teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care.
What We’re Looking For
- Active Washington State CNA or HCA credential required.
- Previous Medication Technician experience required.
- Lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Nurse Delegation and diabetes delegation required.
- Assisted living, memory care, nursing home, or hospital experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stay calm, make decisions, and keep the team focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Must communicate clearly in English with residents, families, and staff.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail are essential.
Schedule: Full-time day shift
