Sr Advanced Test Engineer | Phoenix, AZ
Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Sr Advanced Test Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Hardware Engineering team supporting the Qualification & Verification Testing group. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Sr Advanced Test Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range:$65.00/hour
What’s the Job?
- Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification testing for advanced avionics products.
- Perform Qualification, Validation, and Verification testing of electronic hardware, including DO-160 testing.
- Prepare detailed test reports to support regulatory compliance and product certification.
- Support FAA and customer certification activities by documenting test results and communicating non-compliance findings.
- Utilize engineering software, laboratory equipment, and test instrumentation to evaluate hardware performance.
✅What’s Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in Hardware or Product Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Environmental and/or EMI qualification testing for avionics products.
- Familiarity with qualification standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-810.
- Experience with hardware verification testing and strong written and verbal communication skills.
