Summary:
ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE! These full-time NDT Technician roles support inspection and testing processes to help ensure the quality of castings before they move through production. You will prepare parts, apply inspection methods, document results, and support daily workflow in the department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, learning technical processes, and following detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Hours:
- 1st shift: Monday to Friday, 5am-1pm
- 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 1pm-9pm
- 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 9pm-5am
- PERK: Flexible start time! Choose an earlier or later start time that fits your schedule, then maintain a consistent daily schedule.
- Pay: $17-$20 per hour, DOE
- Shift premium: $.50 for 2nd and 3rd shift
Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspections using penetrant, magnetic particle, and visual methods
- Prepare and process parts through grinding, cleaning, grit blasting, and surface treatments
- Determine pass/fail results based on specifications and quality standards
- Move materials and operate lifting equipment safely to support production
- Maintain inspection records and initiate process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain Level One certification in penetrant or radiographic inspection
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Heavy lifting required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
