Rosecrans Veterinary Clinic is a newly opened veterinary clinic located in the southwestern area of Los Angeles County. We are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team! At least 3 years of working as a veterinary assistant is required.
Our vet assistants use their in-depth medical knowledge and their highly developed organizational skills to help with the client/patient flow at our hospital. They assist our veterinarian with the diagnostics and treatments of patients: monitoring anesthesia, performing lab-work, assisting with oral health procedures and surgery, as well as monitoring hospitalized patients. We also utilize digital x-ray, in-house lab work, and ultrasound to provide excellent medical care.
We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We strive to provide in-depth education to our clients regarding the health and care of their beloved pets, and we need caring team members to communicate this information.
