Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey, seeks academically qualified specialists to teach in the School of Arts and Sciences, Doctorate of Counseling Psychology Program, for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Assistant Professor plays an integral role in shaping the minds and developing the skill sets of our students by delivering engaging instruction using best practices in higher education in areas of expertise. S/he collaborates with faculty and staff colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment for doctoral students in an APA-accredited Counseling Psychology Program through teaching, as well as contributing to the supervision and training of counseling psychology doctoral students.

Required Education:
Earned doctorate in Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program; consideration may be given for an earned doctorate in a related field
Qualifications:

Established record of related research and scholarship appropriate to rank.

Documented teaching experience in a related discipline at an institution of higher education.

3+ years’ clinical experience.

Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision;

Demonstrate professionalism, with the ability to provide quality customer service to a diverse student constituency in accordance with the University’s values.

Salary Range:
$63,500 – 85,900 commensurate with rank and experience
