Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various delivery truck, including a drywall boom truck, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellent customer service will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and safety. This position will include deliveries of building materials, loading and unloading is required. Boom truck experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as flat bed and box trucks in accordance with all traffic laws and vehicle codes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical integrity, and cleanliness before each shift.
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees, and customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy items while practicing proper lifting techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, emergency stop procedures, and defensive driving techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
- Experience in teaching or training roles related to transportation safety or behavior management is a plus
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations demonstrate your readiness for this vital role

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
