Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The primary goal of a Customer Service Representative is to work with the Sales department to grow sales for Same Sky. In this role, you will be providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a positive experience. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with various customer services while maintaining accurate records through data entry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer records and transaction details.
- Create new and repeat quotes & email to send to customer
- Enters sales/sample orders
- Enters and updates data in the sales CRM for customer correspondence, notes, documentation, updates and corrects information
- Follow up on customer inquiries coming to Same Sky through various marketing programs (tickets assigned to TAM)
- Reviews customer purchase order for all information required to complete sales order entry
- Obtains documents required from the customer prior to completing order entry process i.e. Proforma Invoices, Resale Cerfificates, Specs, shipping instructions, credit terms, etc.
- Analyze customer needs to offer tailored solutions and improve service delivery.
- Follow up on orders/samples that have not received committed ship dates
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall internal and external customer service and support initiatives.
- Manage blanket (unscheduled) orders chasing missed releases
- Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with clients in person, over the phone, or via email.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of customer facing experience through Customer Service and/or Sales required
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to analyze situations effectively and provide appropriate solutions
- Extensive experience with Microsoft applications
- SAP Business One experience quoting and sales order entry a plus
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team environment.
