Savvy Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Rubber Manufacturing Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, for our highly reputable client in Worcester, MA. This role involves operating and monitoring equipment used to produce high-quality rubber products while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate rubber processing and molding equipment.
- Load raw materials and rubber compounds into production machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to temperature, pressure, and operating speeds as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Track production data, including output, scrap, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience.
- Experience with injection molding, compression molding, extrusion, or similar processes is a plus.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
Pay: $18.25 - $18.75 per hour
