Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure surfaces, appliances, and fixtures are hygienic and spotless
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and furniture effectively
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach to client communication
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and janitorial tools is advantageous
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory
