New Perspectives is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team serving adults with developmental disabilities.
This position plays a critical role in supporting participants through behavioral assessment, treatment planning, staff training, and ongoing clinical consultation. The BCBA will work closely with program leadership, direct support professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care and meaningful outcomes for the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities
Behavioral Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional behavior analyses (FBAs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
- Provide clinical recommendations utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Evaluate participant progress and modify interventions as needed
Data Analysis & Documentation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data
- Prepare reports, treatment summaries, and required documentation
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Staff Training & Support
- Train, coach, and support staff on behavioral strategies and skill acquisition programs
- Provide guidance on positive behavior support practices
- Support crisis prevention and intervention planning
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with program staff, families, Regional Center representatives, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in treatment planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote person-centered services and best practices throughout the organization
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Active BCBA Certification in good standing
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support
- Excellent assessment, data analysis, and treatment planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to pass FBI/DOJ background clearance
- Physical exam and negative TB test required
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Reliable transportation required
