SUMMARY
The Regional Support Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that every Member, every time receives a warm and positive Altura Credit Union experience. Assists with coaching and supervising team members while motivating the branch staff to innovatively meet and exceed Member’s expectations by consistently applying Altura Credit Union’s Core Values. Displays Altura Credit Union’s Core Values (Caring, Curiosity, Community, Courage, and Resilience) to both external and internal Members. Takes ownership of every Member, every time and provides “Start to Finish” Member service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to compliance issues, policies, and procedures to preserve the operational integrity of the branch network. Accurately performs Symitar functions, assists with certifications, reviews, verifications, inspections, balances the vault and TCR’s, and ensures cash limits are adhered to and sufficient currency and coin are maintained to service Members.
- Functions in any operational role necessary to expedite Member transactions and ensure Member wait times are minimal to include teller, new accounts, fraud processing, loan signings, wire transfers, Member research, and assisting at the Welcome Center.
- Demonstrates excellence in Member service to ensure continuous improvement as identified in overall Member survey scores.
- Effectively assists with on-the-job training for new Tellers, Branch Services Representatives, and Financial Services Representatives which includes cash drawer handling and balancing, negotiable instruments, opening new accounts, cross selling for referrals, and other products.
- Assists team members with difficult internal transactions or Member inquiries. Approves checks, new memberships/accounts, and other transactions according to established guidelines and limits.
- Assists with opening and closing the branch.
- Preserves the retail image of the branch office by maintaining a superior appearance of professionalism, cleanliness, and organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with supervising the branch staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with related policies, procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and the credit union’s strategic plan.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the financial services industry required.
- Prior experience handling cash required.
- Notary Public commission required.
