At Antonina’s Gluten-Free Bakery, we know how important it is to provide our customers with specialty bakery options for those with food sensitivities, as well as to customers who simply enjoy delicious baked goods. For over 20 years, our mission has been to create delicious gluten-free baked goods consumers can enjoy with peace of mind.Baked for All – Our brownies, cakes, cupcakes, coffee cakes, loaves, and muffins are baked with care in a dedicated gluten-free facility, using our proprietary blend of gluten-free flours – always free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Since 2005, we’ve been bringing something sweet to the everyday – so everyone can share in the joy together. Our mission began within our own family and now we are here for you and yours and we are striving to make our delicious products available to everyone at every retailer across the country and beyond!
About the Role
Privately-owned and in business for over 20 years, our quest is to make Antonina’s products available nationwide at retailers and food establishments everywhere. The company produces all products in our highly efficient, company-owned manufacturing facilities in Sumner, WA and Manteca, CA.
OVERVIEW: We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and seasoned sales professional with a proven history of building sales in consumer packaged goods, preferably with experience in bakery. The person for this role must have a minimum of 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience building brands in an entrepreneurial environment. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and improving margin in the assigned region through growing existing customer sales and securing new retail business throughout the assigned region. You will manage the broker network, develop customer presentations, and plan assortment decisions for the region. Core Responsibilities:
· Achieve the volume, revenues, profit, and share goals within assigned region.
· Establish and maintain contact with key decision makers at all retail customers and distributors within the assigned region, assist with the development of sales presentations, and present sales presentations as needed.
· Set objectives, train, motivate, and measure results for assigned brokers in the region to ensure region sales and new customer acquisition targets are met/exceeded.
· Accurately and effectively analyze market/customer business via syndicated data reports on a regular basis and take the appropriate actions to achieve targeted results.
· Maximize profitable category sales opportunities through the effective use of national/local programs, marketing promotions, sales aids, and customer and broker meetings.
· Make sound customer business decisions based on customer opportunity, profitability and volume resulting in profitable growth for Antonina’s.
· Timely submission and set up of all customer programs within Antonina’s systems to ensure proper accounting clearance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
· Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in growing sales / brand building.
· A proven history with verifiable sales success calling on key accounts, distributors, and major retail chains in the in-store bakery department, preferably with experience calling on major retailers in the Central US (Target, Jewel, Meijer, HEB, Whole Foods, plus many more Central US retailers).
· Strong knowledge of the CPG/food industry, including distributors
· Financial acumen required: Budgeting, Planning, and Forecasting
· Ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment that requires flexibility, adaptability and being creative.
- A history of successful broker management.
- The proven ability to generate and open new accounts, both large and small, and manage all aspects of this process.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in data analytics, syndicated data usage, and fact-based selling.
- Excellent people skills with experience developing and growing relationships with key decision makers.
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· This is a remote / home office-based position. Ideally, the candidate for this position will be in a major metropolitan area within the region, close to a major airport.
· This position requires up to 50% travel.
· This position requires a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
