Description of job:
SnapCare is seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support night‑shift operations in a specialized rehabilitation and critical illness care environment. This role focuses on providing high‑quality respiratory care to patients with complex cardiopulmonary needs.
The Respiratory Therapist will perform patient assessments, administer respiratory treatments, manage ventilator support, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current BLS certification
- RRT credential required
- Active state license as required
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols and patient monitoring
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory medications
- Monitor and manage ventilator support as indicated
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and modify treatment accordingly
- Document care accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain compliance with safety and respiratory care standards
