Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in leading and mentoring lower-level team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. For this Data Analyst position, we strongly prefer candidates with prior experience in academic and research environments, as this background supports the analytical rigor and familiarity with research methodologies required for this role.
This role is onsite in San Antonio, TX
- Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources.
- Experience in empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research analyses and statistical methods; proficiency with statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, or similar analytic tools.
- Advanced dashboard building experience using visualization tools such as but not limited to Tableau.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, including an aptitude for listening and the capability to educate through both written and verbal communications.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree degree in a related field is required
PREFERRED:
Experience in Bioinformatics and multiomics as related to research in a University setting.
