Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring exceptional tenant experiences and efficient property management. Your expertise in property leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks will contribute to maintaining high standards of property performance and tenant satisfaction. Duties
- Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including lease signing, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards.
- Support property marketing efforts through upselling rental units and engaging prospective tenants via phone and in-person interactions.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests by liaising with vendors, facilities management teams, and tenants to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS to accurately enter data, maintain records, and generate reports related to occupancy, rent collections, and maintenance logs.
- Handle customer service inquiries professionally, providing clear information about lease terms, rent payments, and property amenities while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in managing Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs to ensure compliance with federal regulations and proper documentation.
- Support conflict management efforts by mediating tenant concerns and resolving disputes effectively while adhering to legal guidelines.
- Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, legal documents, inspection reports, and correspondence related to property operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and LIHTC compliance requirements.
- Previous experience with lease or rental agreement management and contracts administration.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry, filing systems, and office administration including use of CMMS for facilities management.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
