Duties
- Sort linens, towels and other materials according to type and cleaning requirements
- Operate industrial dryers, washers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle materials carefully during washing, drying, folding, and storage processes
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas in compliance with safety standards in production environments
- Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move large loads of linens or equipment safely
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents during manual handling and equipment operation
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning and laundry operations within a hotel or similar environment
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety standards in production settings
- Ability to operate industrial dryers and laundry machines effectively
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting and safe movement of materials
- Attention to detail for sorting, folding, and maintaining high-quality cleanliness standards
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
Pay: $16.17 - $17.28 per hour
