EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on skilled trade work that helps maintain and build important structures throughout the district. The role supports safe travel by assisting with construction, repair, and maintenance tasks. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:

Skilled Trade Work: Perform carpentry, concrete, and stonemasonry tasks on structures throughout the district

Tool Use: Operate hand tools and motorized equipment safely and correctly for each assignment

Construction Support: Build and repair forms, walls, partitions, and related structural features

Safety Practices: Follow safety procedures to protect yourself, coworkers, and the public

Team Coordination: Guide semi-skilled workers and maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Travel, overtime and shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685 (before taxes).
