Senior Staff Accountant
Direct Hire | Southeast Houston (100% Onsite) $90,000 - $110,000 Base + Quarterly Bonus
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company to identify a
Senior Staff Accountant for its Southeast Houston operation. This role offers exposure to accounting, FP&A, cost accounting, tax, audit support, and executive reporting within a large manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities-
Perform month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period.

Support financial statement preparation, cash flow reporting, and management reporting.

Analyze costs, cost centers, inventory, and manufacturing-related transactions.

Assist with internal and external audits, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.

Utilize SAP and Excel to analyze and transform financial data for reporting and decision-making.

Partner with FP&A, Operations, Purchasing, and Leadership teams on reporting and financial analysis.
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

3+ years of accounting experience.

Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Manufacturing, industrial or metals industry experience preferred.

SAP experience strongly preferred (ECC experience a plus).

Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Compensation & Benefits-
Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000
