The following are the steps in the School Counselor (Bilingual) application process:
- Answer registration and pre-qualification questions (5-10 minutes).
- Answer general employment information questions (20-30 minutes).

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria are advanced to complete a performance task.
- Complete virtual interview. (30 minutes)

Advance to a recommended pool that principals and other hiring managers consult to hire for individual school vacancies.

This position has been designated as Safety Sensitive. Pursuant to section 410 of Chapter 4 of the D.C.
