Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support bartenders and the overall bar operation by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the beverage industry within a lively nightclub. Prior experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. The position is integral to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, organized environment for our guests.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies efficiently throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area to ensure a tidy environment
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including handling simple food items or garnishes in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with setup and breakdown of events
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with their needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient service flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in nightclub environments is highly desirable; experience with food handling, bussing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced setting
- Experience working in nightclubs and bar industry is advantageous
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special event hours as needed
