4Paws Grooming is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with both people and pets in a fast-paced but fun environment.
Position Details
- Part-Time Position
- Starting pay: $16/hour (pay may vary based on experience)
- Flexible scheduling available
- No benefits at this time due to part-time status
Responsibilities
- Welcome dogs and clients into the salon
- Check pets in and communicate with groomers and bathers throughout the day
- Take phone calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments
- Learn and use our scheduling software (training provided)
- Process payments including cash, card, and checks
- Contact clients when pets are ready for pickup
- Communicate any questions or concerns from groomers to pet owners
- Respond to emails and customer messages on Facebook and Nextdoor
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and positive front desk environment
Requirements
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Grooming knowledge is a plus, but not required
