Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring proper waste disposal practices
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures to keep surfaces spotless and safe
- Assist with outdoor work tasks such as patio or balcony cleaning and light landscaping support when needed
- Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules while accommodating special requests or urgent needs
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, hotel housekeeping or related roles
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and outdoor maintenance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents or guests
- Experience with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities in various settings
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within tight schedules
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, lift heavy items, and perform outdoor work when necessary
- Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
