Job Overview
CT West is the new Carrier dealer in the Boise area and we are seeking skilled Refrigeration Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with Transport Refrigeration units. This role involves working on-site to install, maintain, and repair Carrier refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The Refrigeration Technician will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our clients while contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including APU's.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of Transport Refrigeration units to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform field service tasks, including diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the transport refrigeration field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and their components.
