About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing industrial automation company seeking a senior-level Control Systems Engineer who wants more than just a desk job.This role offers the opportunity to lead automation projects from concept through commissioning while working directly with customers to solve complex manufacturing challenges. You'll be part of a small, highly collaborative engineering team where your technical expertise, leadership, and client relationship skills will have a direct impact on the business
What you'll be doing: Designing and implementing complete control systems for industrial automation projects
- PLC programming, integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Developing electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
- Leading projects from requirements gathering through startup and validation
- Serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers
- Mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical expertise
- Supporting business growth through client development and relationship building
What we're looking for
:✔ 10+ years of controls engineering experience
✔ Strong PLC programming experience
✔ Experience with industrial automation systems and machine controls
✔ AutoCAD Electrical experience
✔ Ability to work directly with customers and translate technical concepts into practical solutions
✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✔ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
