Growth Mindset & Medical Curiosity
At Star of Texas, we believe veterinary technicians are far more than task-doers — you are essential, highly-valued members of the medical team. We look for individuals who are naturally curious, ask “why,” and are excited to continually expand their medical knowledge and clinical skills.
Our ideal technician wants to understand the deep medicine behind every recommendation — whether explaining the underlying importance of vaccines, discussing the value of diagnostic testing, educating clients about complex conditions, or fiercely advocating for individualized patient care.
We strive to utilize our technicians to the highest level of their abilities by providing active mentorship, robust continued education, and genuine opportunities to advance. We want team members who are genuinely excited to learn, be challenged, and push both personally and professionally.
Your Professional Path: Whether your goal is to master anesthesia, elevate your client communication, deepen your understanding of behavior, or simply become a stronger medical advocate, we want to provide the tools and a dedicated yearly CE budget to help you get there.
