- This position will contribute to a variety of projects from design development through construction administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate architectural design and construction documentation.
- Prepare and manage comprehensive drawing sets and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in design development, detailing, and technical coordination.
- Conduct code research and ensure compliance with applicable building regulations.
- Support project delivery through construction administration activities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Contribute to sustainable and resource-efficient design solutions.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Strong design, presentation, and communication skills.
- Extensive experience preparing and coordinating construction documents.
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; experience with Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
- Familiarity with building codes, ADA requirements, energy compliance standards, and sustainable design practices.
- Experience with Type I, III, and/or V construction.
- Previous experience on multi-family residential, civic, institutional, or community-focused projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration.
- Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset, strong organizational abilities, and passion for quality design.
