Registered Nurse – Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures while working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes.
Position Details
Specialty: Operating Room – Registered Nurse
Location: Lawton, OK
Shift: 36 hours per week (schedule varies per unit needs)
Every other weekend required
Full-time consistent hours with clinical scheduling flexibility
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the surgical process.
- Prepare patients and the operating room before procedures.
- Monitor patient status during surgery and respond to changes appropriately.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with facility policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience (Required)
- CVOR experience preferred
- Active Oklahoma RN License or active Compact RN License at the time of submission
- BLS and other required certifications preferred (candidates without active certifications may still be considered)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- No special scheduling requirements
