Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead the diagnosis and repair of diverse vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Perform engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, including powertrain components and engine system technology.
- Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and software to identify faults efficiently and precisely.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and heavy lifting with appropriate safety procedures.
- Supervise and assist technicians with complex repairs like welding, auto body work, and heavy mechanical repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and quality control protocols.
- Mentor team members on best practices for vehicle systems diagnostics, mechanical repair, and customer service excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive background working with automotive repair shops.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, engine system diagnostics, and powertrain maintenance.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles or similar brands preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge across automotive engine technology, auto body repair, alignment procedures, and vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members alike.
