Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000 DOE
A rapidly growing, privately held industry leader is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic organization experiencing significant growth while partnering closely with finance leadership on key accounting initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, experience supporting external audits and month-end close, and a passion for process improvement. Support and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Coordinate and support external audit activities, including audit schedules and documentation requests.

Perform detailed financial and cost analyses to support operational decision-making.

Ensure the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and other key accounts.

Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Participate in ERP enhancements, automation projects, and reporting improvements.

Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.

Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

CPA strongly preferred

Big 4 or public accounting experience required

Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and external audits.

Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or cost accounting experience preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, and lookup functions.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
