Role Description
Crating Associate
LS Art Consulting | FrameWorks is seeking to an individual to our in-house crating team. This position is for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and wants understands both the technical and logistic side of crating.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced packaging environment. You will be responsible for executing crating projects, supporting the crating department workflow, and ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for packaging all creations manufactured by the company. This includes, but is not limited to, boxing in cardboard, palletizing and building custom wood crates to ensure the highest level of protection for products during shipping. Your focus will be on quality and accuracy to prevent any damage during transit.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Ability to read/understand prints and diagrams
- Accuracy with measuring tools (e.g., tape measure)
- Basic carpentry skills
- Experience with operating power tools (saws, mat drills, pneumatic tools, etc.)
- Comfortability safely transporting materials with equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, fork lift (experience with forklift highly recommended )
- Construct wood crates and containers as required for packing applications
- Pack/crate products as required or directed to established specifications
- Prepares freight offered for shipment to include packing, crating, weighing, marking, labeling and documenting cargo
- Record accurate information in the manufacturing software system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and inventory areas
- Receive, label, and properly store incoming materials
Preferred (not required)
- Packing and shipping experience
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office & ZOHO applications
- Demonstrate computer skills in SketchUp, 3D modeling software, and CratePro
Job Type
- Full-time, on-site, 8 Hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
- Pay based on experience ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour)

Experience:
- Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
