Preschool Director – Happy Time Preschool
Happy Time Preschool is seeking an experienced, professional, and caring Preschool Director to lead daily operations and support our teaching team in providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children and families.
The Preschool Director is responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring licensing compliance, supporting classroom quality, and maintaining positive relationships with families. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a calm, respectful approach when working with both children and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the preschool in compliance with state licensing regulations
- Supervise, support, and mentor teaching staff
- Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful workplace culture
- Ensure children’s safety, well-being, and development at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents and families
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom coverage
- Address concerns professionally and promptly
- Support ongoing staff training and development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Preschool Director preferred
- Strong understanding of childcare licensing requirements
- Proven leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to model appropriate tone, behavior, and professionalism at all times
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all state background and licensing requirements

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
