This position combines puppy sales, customer experience, community outreach, event planning, and social media marketing in a fun, fast-paced retail environment. While marketing and content creation are important parts of the role, the primary focus is helping families find the right puppy and creating an exceptional customer experience.
This position is heavily based on commissions, bonuses, and performance incentives. Base pay starts at $16-$18 per hour, with target earning $38,000-$55,000+ annually.
What You’ll Do
- Assist families through the puppy selection and purchasing process
- Build relationships with customers and create an exceptional experience
- Follow up with prospective customers and existing puppy families
- Participate in puppy sales and financing discussions
- Plan and coordinate in-store and mall events (puppy yoga, educational sessions, promotions, community events)
- Build relationships with mall management and local businesses
- Create and post social media content (photos, videos, reels, stories)
- Capture daily content in-store (puppies, customers, behind-the-scenes)
- Manage and send email and text campaigns to our customer database
- Create one educational video per month with behind-the-scenes operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive store environment
- Clean and sanitize daily
- Assist with Kennel as needed
