About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Asst Director of Housekeeping to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients, residents, and staff. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing feedback
Develop and implement effective cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Implement efficient and cost-effective strategies for managing housekeeping supplies and inventory
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and maintain high standards of quality
Participate in staff training and development programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements
Minimum 1 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
