Job Summary:
The Selling Branch Manager role is responsible for the financial success of the branch, which includes oversight and management of daily recruitment, sales, and operational activities. This involves direct supervision of the staff and day-to-day operations, leading the branch to meet or exceed financial goals, deliver quality customer service, and achieve sales and recruitment goals. M-F 8am-5pm, remote.
Job Duties:
Operations –
· Lead and set the direction for the branch on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
· Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and state/federal requirements.
· Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, making recommendations for promotions and salary adjustments.
· Resolve staff, associate, and client issues promptly.
· Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Monitor and ensure staff meet and exceed minimum expectations regularly.
· Develop the annual budget and business plan, guiding the branch team to exceed financial goals.
· Collaborate on setting reasonable sales and recruiting goals, sharing industry trends, and improving branch efficiency.
· Complete required branch reporting accurately, monitor accounts receivable, and manage the ATS system.
Sales –
· Generate new business in the assigned territory through various channels.
· Conduct needs assessments, ensure proper documentation, and support branch Account Executive.
· Maintain relationships, provide industry knowledge, resolve conflicts, and pursue new business within House Accounts.
· Oversee client agreements and safety evaluations, enforce hiring guidelines, and negotiate pricing.
· Collaborate with leadership to establish annual sales goals.
Recruitment –
· Develop and lead all branch recruitment strategies.
· Establish new recruiting partnerships and identify resources for a diversified workforce.
· Participate in recruiting activities alongside branch recruiters, ensuring job board budget efficiency.
· Implement and maintain talent pipelines, ensuring sourcing activity is part of the branch routine.
· Train recruiters to meet branch demand and performance metrics.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma, Valid Driver’s License, and proof of auto insurance.
· Minimum of 1 year of staffing industry experience.
· Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
· Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of recruitment/human resources experience.
Work Environment:
The selling branch manager will be located in a professional setting with their own office required at times for privacy in conducting 1:1 meetings or confidential discussions. There will be regular occurrences every month when the selling branch manager will either join the Account Executive or work independently out in the field to visit clients or house accounts, and to participate in client safety evaluations if necessary. During safety evaluations there could be a need to wear protective clothing or safety vests depending upon the environment. It is necessary to have a current driver’s license and a car in order to visit clients, prospects, and tend to need of the associates.
Physical Requirements:
General physical requirements are prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. With the ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 25%. Travel will primarily be within the territory of the branch or the corporate office.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
